Hi there,
I just did this plugin (for FD3) which allows to use a quick find feature similar to the Firefox one.
You'll find the menu item into the search menu:

Are you using the latest FlashDevelop 3 rev. 1769?

Yes I will indeed. It's really exciting :)
I just need some time first to learn a bit more C# and the FD framework..

I dont know.. are you compiling from the source?
Sometimes it happens also to me with the ProjectManager plugin, but just deleting the .dll and recompiling solves the problem
I can try to give you the source if you want

Oh, thanks.

But I guess the problem is not related to this. I get the same error with the Todo plugin, from the SVN source.
If I put this on a clean install of Beta 2, it works...

Thats might be a problem because I'm trying to convert my old plugin (A type of "find and replace") to FD3. Well, chances are I've screwed things up.

Hey, But I've seen your plugin - it is pretty good, I love the highlight option! :D

I really like the highlighting feature of this plugin!

I suppose the only issues would be:

1) the highlighting remains even if I close the QuickFind bar
2) the highlighting remains if I clear the QuickFind text field

Some thoughts and suggestions:
ESC will close the quick find.
ENTER will move to next match (like F3)
ctrl+H will tuggle highlight

A mode for autohighlighting and finding: moving the cursor will highlight the word that is under it. Pressing F3 will search for the next word under the cursor.
This one I tried to do myself, but with no success. I can send you the changes I've made.

Thats it for now, this plugin really has potential.

Really good plugin. Just one minor quibble: its position appears to be fixed. I'd far prefer to have it appear below the toolbar rather than at the bottom of the page.
