hi,

I am trying to debug my project but when I try to I get this "waiting for Flash Player to connect to Debugger" progress bar in the right bottom corner and after the bar is filled I got "[No debug Flash player connection request]" message in the output panel.

I downloaded the latest standalone Flash Player debugger and pointed FlashViewer to that Flash Player and in the test project drop menu I choose FlashViewer, External Player, Play on a new tab none of them worked.

even when I right click on the player I got "movie is not loaded" in the context menu.

now I know I am doing something wrong and if someone guide me to get this code running I will be thankful.

If you have "movie is not loaded" in the context menu it means that the SWF doesn't exist or is invalid.

My project used to run in flashdevelop 4.5. When i installed the updates(4.6.1.30) and tested my project, the right bottom says "Waiting for flash player to connect to the debugger". The flash player opens up but shows white screen. Why does it happen ? I am thinking of installing the previous version itself.

just use Flash to debug/run your code if you have it installed.

tools>Flash tools>Test Movie in Flash IDE

or go to Tools>Program Settings>FlashViewer

and make sure you are pointing to the right flash debugger path

I am sorry. There was a variable which was not declared. After i declared it, the problem was solved. :D
I have no idea how FD built my project successfully. I am damn sure i did not touch any other part of my code.
