$(PROJECTNAME) and $(PACKAGENAME) are only replaced in Actionscript , Project, and MXML files. I thought about lifting this restriction completely but I realized that when moving .gif, jpg, .swc files it would try to do a replace. I think I will just add to the extensions already there. I am thinking of adding the following: txt, html, and htm. I am also rewriting my logic to support empty directories and being able to place any file type within the custom directory structure. I think capitalizing the $(PROJECTNAME) in a class is too much of an edge case to support.

Can't you add a keyword
like CAP$(PROJECTNAME)
It shoudl be to much of a hassle?
The things is I would like to generate everything using your plugin, and some of the static var ( constnat ) I am using need to know the project name ( both while creating the project and creating new classes )...
Cheers

We consider adding some arguments operations, like uppercase, lowercase, paths splitting, etc.

MAJOR UPDATE
I have updated the Project Manager Plugin Mod. The Plugin has been updated to include HTML,HTM, and TXT files for keyword replacement. I have greatly simplified my package logic to make using this modification extremely easy. I have updated the PureMVC Project template to take advantage of this enhancement.

Usage Update
To utilize the package name entered via the New Project Wizard dialog box just create a directory and name it $(PACKAGENAME). Then just place any combination of files and subdirectories within the new directory.

I don't understand your note for the usage....
Could you be more precise????

Otherwise cool that html filse are processed :)
( maybe you should add a panel where user could tick or write what extension they wanna use ;) )

Good job :)

This is a great plugin. Is it a candidate for expansion into refactoring and version control integration?

Hey man, not that I want your plugin to do everything but I think it may be cover by it as you are generating the classes for a project.
What I'm thinking is having maybe somewhere some text for license ( mozilla, creative common, ... ) that you can add at the top of all classes created ( when creating a project or adding classes, of course you could choose not to ).
I know it's not related to what you've done so far but I reckon it should be part of it. Don't you think so?
I'll be glad helping you on this one...

Cheers :)

You can do that now by updating all the Project Template files and the Project File Templates with whatever license text you want (mozilla,creative common,..). But to make it easier I could create a new keyword called $(LICENSE) that would look in the Project Template directory for a license.txt file and it would replace the keyword with whatever text is in the license.txt file.

Yup I know about the project template. but the license could be different even if you are using the same project template. I was thinking maybe of a new combo box when creating the project like "license", same when you are creating the class. This combo box would look into a xml containing the path of the license text...
What you think of it???

Hi, i've just tested your dll's by copying it in plugins directory
(C:\Program Files\FlashDevelop\FirstRun\Plugins && C:\Documents and Settings\%USERNAME%\Local Settings\Application Data\FlashDevelop\Plugins ) and other files into ProjectTemplates and ProjectFiles
when i start FD3 i've got this warning
Quote:
Unable to load one or more of the requested types. Retrieve the LoaderExceptions property for more information.

at System.Reflection.Module.GetTypesInternal(StackCrawlMark& stackMark)
at System.Reflection.Assembly.GetTypes()
at FlashDevelop.Utilities.PluginServices.AddPlugin(String fileName)

is it compatible with FD3 beta 4 or maybe i've made somthin' wrong somewhere ?

best regards

This modified version of PM is now incompatible and it should be re-applied to the new codebase.
Also, we are still interested in finding a clean way to integrate it in some future release.
