Post Syntax checking process ERROR
Syntax checking process starting: java -Duser.language=en -Duser.region=US -classpath "C:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe\Adobe Flash CS4\Common\Configuration\ActionScript 3.0\asc_authoring.jar;C:\Users\xxx\AppData\Local\FlashDevelop\Data\AS3Context\FlexShells.jar" AscShell

Do you know what is it?

Do you have Java runtime installed?

If you have a 64bits OS you'll have to install a 32bits version of Java (both can be installed).

I have windows 7 64bit and I installed the Java runtime for 64bit. So do I have to install also the 32bit version?
I try.
Thank you Philippe!

Please discuss each issue (which are most likely completely unrelated) separately.

1. What exactly is the error your get for syntax checking

2. What exactly do you mean by "it doesn't show me the external classes"

1. When I open Flash develop and I start typig, in the output it appears this message:
Syntax checking process starting: java -Duser.language=en -Duser.region=US -classpath "C:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe\Adobe Flash CS4\Common\Configuration\ActionScript 3.0\asc_authoring.jar;C:\Users\wipitalia\AppData\Local\FlashDevelop\Data\AS3Context\FlexShells.jar" AscShell

2. When I type import it doesnt' show me the external classes and I have to insert it manually.
For example: I want to import the TweenMax class: I added to the project the classpath where I've stored the com.greensock folder but when I try to import the class it doesn't show me the class and also the class methods when I try to call them.

Nothing to worry about...it does what it says: "Syntax checking process starting" ;) - it's not a bug, it's a feature! ;)

1. The syntax checking thing is not an error - it doesn't say there is an error but only that it started the syntax checking process.

2. Maybe you have a classpath issue. What path did you precisely add?

Ok. sorry. I didn't know. :?
Thanks.

For the Classpath:
I have the flash XXX.as3proj in the main folder, in the same folder I have src (fla and as files) and Classes (where I putted all the external classes I'm using for the project).
In Project>Proprieties there is Classpaths and in Project Classpath I added Classes.

Ok then what is the path to TweenMax.as in Classes?

Does your project compile?
