Michael, excellent job. Anything that brings the excellent Flashdevelop and PureMVC together is a gem.

I encountered a minor bug ... the package name logic in the "New project" wizard disallows the usage of _underscores. Whereas they are legit, and a necessary workaround for domains or packages beginning with numerics or containing dashes.

Is an update possible? Many thanks.

DanieleUg ... in answer to your question (no "add new" context menu):

copy the files (and folder) contained in this zip:

http://develop.gurufaction.com/fd3/projectmanager/PureMVC_ProjectFiles.zip

to your local folder:

C:\Documents and Settings\%USER%\Local Settings\Application Data\FlashDevelop\Templates\ProjectFiles\AS3Project

Then the right click "Add" options should work fine. Best of luck.

Here are the source files for my plugin mod. These source files do not include support for sub-folders in Project Contex menus. I will need to add this feature back later.

UPDATE

I have updated the ProjectManager.dll, PureMVC Project template, and source code files. This update includes support for subfolders in the Project Manager context menu and underscores in package names (Thanks bodbod )

Thanks Michael. Unfortunately the latest dll (236,032 bytes) doesn't seem to do the template string replaceKeywords() anymore. So $(PROJECTNAME), $(PROJECTID) & $(PACKAGENAME) remain unmodified in the copied template. The filenames and folders do rename correctly and as expected.

Hope this info is useful.

[Updated to include more useful info after (badly!) reviewing the source.]

Are you using the updated PureMVC Project Template? The updated project template contains files with name like filename.as.template . Keyword replacement only occurs on files with the .template extension.

It's missing '.template' after the main MXML file.

Do NOT install the modified plugin.

But the project template should be ok - there was only a little problem with the main MXML file in the template: the extension should be renamed '.mxml.template'.

Hi.

Thanks for making this available.
Just getting started with pureMVC (and MVC) so please forgive my ignorance.
What version of pureMVC is it for?

Hi,
I would like to know do you have ProjectManager.dll for FD4?
I have many projects and packages what using MAVEN code structure and all starts from PROJECT_NAME/src/main/flex

When I am adding all those packages into Classpaths in my Project Manager Tree I can see 10 folders "flex" I don't know for what package are belongs until I am not expanding. But at same time I cannot fit all expanded packages in my Tree View without scrolling. The best solution will be like in Eclipse contaminating all subfolders into one string

PROJECT_NAME_src_main_flex

Or provide an option for creating aliases for my packages

Thanks,
DG
