I knew it had to be something like that.

Thank you so much for the help ... I didn't mean to seem like a pest with my "pet bug" that I wanted fixed, but lately it's been the one hiccup in my development.

Thanks again! :D

The RTE being thrown when attempting to add SWC... I know it's an old bug, but, hoped it's been fixed :(
And now even manual adding path to the SWC to the project file doesn't work... I've tried this in R334 build.

EDIT: Sorry, manually adding the path to the SWC does work, though the SWC name in the ProjectExplorer isn't painted in blue and it isn't shown in the compiler settings...

Another separate bug:
Overrides for flash.utils.Proxy ware generated wrongfully, exactly, I've got these:
Code:
override internal function callProperty(name:*, ...rest):void
{
   ...
}

override internal function getProperty(name:*):void
{
   ...
}

Putting them into internal namespace is OK and understandable, but the return type of those two must be * and not void.

EDIT: BTW, nextValue() also got typed to void instead of *.

I got these results with the build I've downloaded from the link in the first post in this topic (I didn't build it myself, just downloaded the installer) and I downloaded it yesterday, few hours before I posted the bug. But I had another RC installation before and I didn't uninstall it completely before installing a new one, so, there positively is a chance it used some old files... I'll try installing it all afresh, and tell what the results are.
Are those overrides generated from the intrinsic classes from FD library or are they generated from playerglobal.swc (so maybe I can find the problem myself)? Because if they are generated from the SWC I'd probably need to report this bug to someone else :)

With previous versions of FD we have been fighting to keep the custom user files and finally we found a good solution. The behaviour has been changed so that these menu and language config files will be loaded first from the user files and if not present from the app files. This way we can keep the app dir fully up to date and minimize the need to rewrite user files. It basicly up to the user to customize these files.

This new features needs lots of testing before RC2 so please help us out. Note that you need to backup your setting filex before installing this if you have a RC2 dev build already installed. Also as there are some small bugs in the multi instance mode and keeping standalone mode FD up to date we are advising users to not use these modes.

Couldn't find any place this was reported:
Use of ternary operation does not give autocompletion for properties and methods.

Code:
var a:Number = true ? ...no autocompletion here...

If I run FlashDevelop along with Flex Builder, I get this error at start up,

The process cannot access the file 'C:\Users\Tangent\AppData\Roaming\Macromedia\Flash Player\Logs\flashlog.txt' because it is being used by another process.

Can you provide the stack trace that comes with it?

I notice this error appears when Flex Builder is not running. It could be the fact that Flash Player was used to debugged before, which made it put a certain lock on the log file.

I notice that HDividedBox is not recognized at all. For example, if I write a class that extends HDividedBox, even after I import mx.containers.HDividedBox, the IDE does not seem to recognize the class at all. The class still appears as "black" instead of "blue" like the others.

Sounds like a problem in ASClassWizard plugin.

I have not updated FlashDevelop RC2 since I reported the issue with auto-completion eating/creating characters.

I updated the .NET framework to the 3.5 update that Microsoft recently released.

No more issues with auto-completion.

Just thought I'd report it.

Strike that. It still happens when doing inline auto-completion where there is text around the auto-completion position.
