I have been using FD4 for a long time, but after the Windows Update yesterday, I restarted my computer and the FlashDevelop got the "FlashDevelop 4 has stopped working" error every time i open it. I have FULLY uninstalled the FD4 (removed settings, removed the folder C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Local\FlashDevelop) and re-installed the latest version but nothing helps.

I am using Windows 7 professional and I have the dot net framework 3.5 installed in the windows feature. Do I have to install the .NET framework sp2 for the latest version to work? Because I downloaded the file from "http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=1639" and it just ask me to install it at the "turn windows features on/off".

The .NET Data of my PC:

Mozilla/5.0(Windows NT 6.1; WOW64; Trident/7.0;SLCC2; .NET CLR 2.0.50727; .NET CLR 3.5.30729; .NET CLR 3.0.30729; Media Center PC 6.0; .NET4.0C; .NET4.0E; BRI/2; InfoPath.3; rv:11.0) likeGecko

I have even tried starting programs in XP / Vista mode/ as Admin, still no luck.

My Java version: 1.7.0_51, have JRE 7 installed as well.
Edited: I removed java 7 and reinstalled java 6, update the java_home, but still the same

Try installing .NET 2 SP1, you can have all the .NET versions installed in parallel.

Also Java is only used for compiling using the Flex SDK - it won't affect FD aside from that.
