Hi, all,

Windows XP x86:

After copying DLL to the correct place have got the next situation:

Run FD and my project is opened automatically. Just click Test Project and here is the error:

Code:
Debugger startup error: net.sf.jni4net.jni.JNIException: Can't find java class for flash.tools.debugger.concrete.DValue_ from classLoader sun.misc.Launcher$AppClassLoader@94af67
   at net.sf.jni4net.utils.Registry.LoadClass(String name, JNIEnv env, ClassLoader classLoader)
   at net.sf.jni4net.utils.Registry.RegisterClass(RegistryRecord record, JNIEnv env, ClassLoader classLoader)
   at net.sf.jni4net.utils.Registry.BindJvm(RegistryRecord record, JNIEnv env, ClassLoader classLoader)
   at net.sf.jni4net.utils.Registry.RegisterType(Type type, Boolean bindJVM, JNIEnv env, ClassLoader classLoader)
   at net.sf.jni4net.utils.Registry.RegisterAssembly(Assembly assembly, Boolean bindJVM, ClassLoader classLoader)
   at net.sf.jni4net.utils.Registry.RegisterAssembly(Assembly assembly, Boolean bindJVM)
   at net.sf.jni4net.Bridge.RegisterAssembly(Assembly assembly, ClassLoader classLoader)
   at net.sf.jni4net.Bridge.RegisterAssembly(Assembly assembly)
   at FlashDebugger.DebuggerManager.Start(Boolean alwaysStart)

I have set ClassPath in the Project Properties to Flex 3 lib subdirectory in the hope it might resolve the problem. No luck. After second click on Test Project I'm getting "Internal debugger exception" message box.
Debugger still doesn't work.

Any ideas?

Thank you.

This isn't a problem in your code, but an issue when starting the Flex SDK's Java debugger.

What is your Java runtime version?

Since FD 4.0.2 RTM, the debugger does not start anymore when using Haxe projects. I had to revert back to 4.0.1 to get it working again.

best,
michael

I just tested it and the debugger didn't work, although when I build FD from sources, it's working correctly.

Workaround: you can start external debugger: Debug -> Start Remote Session, then run the build and the debugger will work.

Ah correct, the debugger doesn't auto-start for Haxe Flash...
Fixed in SVN.

We're going to push a 4.0.3 very soon - we've let too many bugs go.

Here is the error code.

See the end of this message for details on invoking

************** JIT Debugging **************
To enable just-in-time (JIT) debugging, the .config file for this

jitDebugging value set in the system.windows.forms section.
The application must also be compiled with debugging
enabled.

For example:

<configuration>
<system.windows.forms jitDebugging="true" />
</configuration>

When JIT debugging is enabled, any unhandled exception
will be sent to the JIT debugger registered on the computer
rather than be handled by this dialog box.

@karayakar you seem to have installed FD in "standalone mode" in your Program Files, did you?
This special install type is meant to be installed in a user directory - Program Files require privileges incompatible with this mode.

Just tested 4.0.3 - debugger still doesn't start automatically.
"Start Remote Session" works.

Ah snap, that fix wasn't applied to 4.0 branch - it's in trunk. Let's see if Mika is ok to update the release.

This is what worked for me:

It turns out that the flex sdk requires java 1.6.

For me the problem started when I updated java to 1.7

So I uninstalled 1.7, downloaded 1.6.0.0 and installed it, then updated to 1.7 and in Program Files/Java I ended up with the folders "jre1.6.0" and "jre7".
That means I have 1.7 installed and I keep files from 1.6

So I went to C:\Program Files\FlashDevelop\Tools\flexsdk\bin and opened jvm.config

I changed the line

java.home=

to

java.home=C:\Program Files\Java\jre1.6.0

and voilá. No more missing jvm.dll errors and the debugger works.

Still having some trouble in FD 4.0.4: The debugger still does not automatically start in a HaXe AIR Project. A normal HaXe AS3 project seems to work correctly.

This is with HaXe 2.10 and AIR 3.3.

Thanks! :D
