I searched and couldn't find what's the problem. I can also say it worked some time ago, but doesn't work now, for some reason.

Tried updating FD to the newest version as well as uninstalling first.

Hmm, so it's not just me. Pleum, are you a new user of Flashdevelop, or has the issue appeared for you only recently as well?

I figured out maybe we couldn't google the problem because everyone is lazily only pasting screenshots, so here's the text of the error:

Message 1
Code:
System.InvalidOperationException: There is an error in XML document (571, 65). ---> System.Xml.XmlException: An error occurred while parsing EntityName. Line 571, position 65.
   at System.Xml.XmlTextReaderImpl.Throw(Exception e)

   at System.Xml.Serialization.XmlSerializer.Deserialize(TextReader textReader)

Message 2
Code:
System.NullReferenceException: Object reference not set to an instance of an object.
   at AppMan.MainForm.PopulateListView()

EDIT: copying the message 2 contents to google actually succeeded with a single result:
viewtopic.php?p=54479#p54479
Funny thing is, Google actually doesn't link to the original page but to some aggregate:
http://flashdevelop12.rssing.com/chan-1 ... _p238.html

Is this forum not indexed by Google? Why the following search term shows nothing?
Code:
AppMan.MainForm.PopulateListView() site:flashdevelop.org

In Bing and Duckduckgogo it's OK - thought you might want to know.

Unfortunately, the solution above didn't work for me.

my bad :(

The fix will be coming shortly.

Details:
The XML file contained an invalid syntax: it had an ampersand character (&) unescaped (should be &).
