Compilation for all projects fails now

I have been using FD to make Air apps for about a year now and haven't had any real problems. After taking a month break I came back to it today. None of the files have been modified, but now every single one of my apps fails compilation with the following series of bizarre errors:

The definition of base class BitmapAsset was not found.
public class rm_sp extends mx.core.BitmapAsset

The definition of base class SoundAsset was not found.
public class rm_gm extends mx.core.SoundAsset

The definition of base class FontAsset was not found.
public class sid_sf extends mx.core.FontAsset

Each one appearing for each object I have used [Embed(source="...")] to embed as a bitmap/sound/font.

I don't know what is going on, perhaps include paths have been botched somewhere?

So I went to project->properties->compiler options->SWC libraries and added
and an app now compiles. This is obviously a hack and I would have to add every SWC for every app to get them to compile where I have never had to do this before.

Anyway this leads to the following when packaging for the iOS app store:

Exception in thread "main" java.lang.AbstractMethodError: org.apache.xerces.dom.
at com.adobe.air.Plist.parsePlistDictionary(
at com.adobe.air.Plist.newFromString(
at com.adobe.air.ipa.IPAOutputStream.GetResourceRulesOmitPatterns(IPAOut
at com.adobe.air.ipa.IPAOutputStream.<init>(
at com.adobe.air.ipa.IPAPackager.<init>(
at com.adobe.air.ADT$Target.newPackager(
at com.adobe.air.ADT.newPackager(
at com.adobe.air.ADT.getPackager(
at com.adobe.air.ADT.getIPAPackager(
at com.adobe.air.ADT.relaunchForIPAIfNecessary(
at com.adobe.air.ADT.detectTarget(
at com.adobe.air.ADT.parsePackage(
at com.adobe.air.ADT.parseArgsAndGo(
at com.adobe.air.ADT.main(

APK setup creation FAILED.

- verify AIR SDK target version in application.xml

Press any key to continue . . .

So there is obviously something still very wrong (again, the exact same projects were compiling/packaging last time I used FD). I suspect this is somehow still related to FD not searching in the right place for anything anymore.

I have tried removing and reinstalling FD, Air and Flex and it makes no difference. Does FD depend on any external environment variable/registry setting (I'm on Windows 7) or anything that could have been modified? Any help with this issue would be appreciated.

Sorry your question went unanswered.

This must have to do with your Flex/AIR SDK installation (and telling FD where it is in program settings), did you resolve it?
