I used to work in VB years and years ago. In the IDE there was a keyboard shortcut I could use to go back to the last line. I forgot the short-cut key.
So I cannot test if it is in there. If not I'd love to have it back after all these years. :)

No, I mean to the last line you were working on.

For example,

Let's say you are working on line 13489034 and you need to check something. So you goto another place in your code and copy a variable name. Here is where you would do a "Go to last line you were at" method. You would press ctrl + something and it would take you back to line 13489034. Does that make sense?

Super useful feature. You would use it all the time I bet. ;)

That's an interesting suggestion.

You can however bookmark lines.
Check the shortcuts in the main menu: Toggle/Next/Prev/Clear Bookmarks.

Ah ha! I found it.

Search on this page for "last position"
http://msdn.microsoft.com/library/defau ... asic70.asp

According to this page, it looks like they did not include this feature in .net from VB 6. I do not think bookmarks are the same. With bookmarks you have to mark the position and then search up or down through any bookmarks to find your last position. Last position would just take you to the last position your cursor was at.

Also, here is key combo:

Search for last position.
