Hi, After a while of using FlashBuilder as main IDE, I finally got back to FlashDevelop (Oh, I missed it so much...)

There is one thing that could be nice, and I think may not be so hard to implement.
The project panel gives a lot of functionality to the file management. Adding of library assets, seeing the compiled classes in a SWF, etc. But it's root is restricted to the project file's folder.
The files panel can show every folder's content, but doesn't have all the added functionality, except "add to trusted folder". And doesn't have the tree structure.

My proposal is to allow creating a temporary "Project Panel" but without the project, to any arbitrary folder. Or, a different approach, add a node in the main project panel, like the "References" node, to be a "folders" node, that will just open different folders in a tree structure.
And add the ability to "Add to library" or "Link in project" inside the Files tab.

What do you think?

Like linked folders? Possible but when its not connected to project it doesn't provide much value other than browsing files and viewing SWF and SWC contents. Good suggestion anyway, we will think about this.

What I was missing most was "Add to library" of SWC in external folders. It could be done by manually copy / pasting the path in the project settings, or browsing, but it is much more convenient...
Anf, of course, just quicly brows related folders.

Thanks Mika.

In your case "Add Library Path/SWC" with browse to folder/file would be decent i guess?

It would be most convenient as a context menu item in the files panel, or the linked folders you mentioned.

Hi, I created two tasks about it:
https://github.com/fdorg/flashdevelop/issues/656
https://github.com/fdorg/flashdevelop/issues/657

Thanks in advance :)
