Post Vim plugin?
Is anyone working on (or maybe it already exist) on a Vim plugin that would allow FD to be controlled much like vi/vim?

This would be a required feature for me if I was to use FD for Flash Development

There is an OLE version of Vim http://www.vim.org/download.php that could maybe be integrated into FlashDevelop.

As FD is built on top of .net I expect it is possible to use OLE to add Vim to it.

Not sure where to start though, ideas anyone?

Has anyone made FlashDevelop use any text editor other than the built in Scite editor?

FD has a lot of dependencies on Scintilla - sounds hard to use another editor component without changing a lot of code in FD.

OK so making the editor able to switch in the main FD would be a lot of work but what about a FD Vim plugin. Just thinking of a custom FD plugin window that could house the Vim OLE version - something like that.

Does that sound like something that might be technically or practically possible ?
