Hi All,

I know that FD4 has support for ASDoc use, but for some reason I had tough time to make it work with projects that have lots of dependencies & third party libs I don't want to be included in generated documentation. Maybe I got it wrong how it works, but anyway, I made small console-based utility that works just fine for what I need it, and I'd like to share it with community here.

Download from:
http://www.visionmax.com.hk/download/ASDocUtil_Setup_20111006.exe (480kb)

It's very simple, no big fuss about it, so here's what it does:

[*] Can create .bat file with complete command line generated, which you can later use while programming / editing comments in your code, to quickly see how documentation looks with changes you just did.
[*] Can include dependencies for ASDoc compiling process, which will not be included in generated documentation. Multiple paths to external dependencies can be added.
[*] Can include multiple source paths, for source that will be included in generated documentation.

I'm planning to add some GUI in future and options to change design of the documents (instead of having that Adobe-look as default one). Once it's ready will post it here.

Tried looking at the screen shot... received:
Code:
Forbidden

You don't have permission to access /download/ASDocUtil_img1.png on this server.

Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

Um, something is wrong with URL, if you try to type in http://... the rest of the link... in address bar, then it works.

p.s.

I think I've found what's the problem. My server is forbidding linking to image files from another url (in this case from flashdevelop.org). Thus exe is ok to download, but png is not. I've rar-ed png here

http://www.visionmax.com.hk/download/ASDocUtil_img1.rar

p.p.s.

Heh, I've found where's that server setting, so now screenshot url (png) works.

Hi All,

I've updated utility, so now it can also use custom document style, instead Adobe one:

Here's how utility looks like so far:

Download link:

You can now create your own document style if you're familiar with .css

I'll see to add that GUI asap, but for now utility does the job.

Hi everyone,

I've updated utility, now you can add .swc files as external dependencies, if you have such in your project:
ASDocUtil_Setup_20111103.exe (552kb)
