 Sharing Color Schemes
Hey guys, I put together a color scheme for FlashDevelop and thought you may like it. It works quite well for me.
The edited files were:
Settings/ScintillaNET.xml
Settings/Languages/AS2.xml
Settings/Languages/AS3.xml
Settings/Languages/XML.xml
Download them from here
Download them from here
(I do have "Highlight Caret Line set as TRUE" on FlashDevelop Display Settings)
Feedback is welcome, and as well maybe we can share a bunch of our color schemes here so that people can grab them?. Seems to be one of the most frequent things people ask about.
(the color scheme is inspired in some good ones I have seen around the web, one by pixelpusher and another called "Zenburn")
link fixed!

 Re: Sharing Color Schemes
elhector, I've used your color scheme for years now and I loved it. Today, after a reinstall, I wanted to donwload it again, and found out the link is broken. I'd be really, really grateful, if you would fix it.

 Re: Sharing Color Schemes
Hey Javax, really sorry about that. I changed my hosting provider and had not uploaded all the files that were in the previous host. Download link should be working now. It's nice to now someone found it useful!. It's the color-scheme I use to this day. Cheers!

 Re: Sharing Color Schemes
I've been wanting to create a color scheme like this for FlashDevelop. Great Work!
For some reason FlashDevelop won't apply the changes though. I've replaced all the files in the application folder, restarted but the colors didn't change.
Any help you could provide to get these going would be great.

 Re: Sharing Color Schemes
Mmmh. That is odd... What version of FlashDevelop are you using luv-pepper?. Are you sure you actually replaced the files with mine, once a guy had a problem because he had placed them in a parent folder or something like that. I had to format my computer so I re-installed FlashDevelop and it seems to be working fine. Do let me know if things don't work out, I'll try to make sense of the problem.

 Re: Sharing Color Schemes
Hi guys, I just decided to give the new syntax coloring editor a whirl (which is great, by the way, if you haven't tried it!) and whipped up a new color scheme. I will probably modify it as I continue to use it for development, but I wanted to share my progress. You can set custom fonts for each syntax type in the new editor, so I experimented with using different font weights and sizes in this scheme. I also decided to venture from the standard color set while maintaining something that still feels similar to me. http://www.eclecticdesignstudio.com/cod ... Scheme.pngYou will need to have the latest development build installed in order to use the syntax color editor or to use the new *.fdz file format. If you haven't downloaded it yet you can grab it from this thread: viewtopic.php?f=9&t=3529I also didn't test this color scheme using Actionscript 2, because frankly I don't use Actionscript 2 anymore. I may give it a try later and fine-tune the scheme after it feels more "final" to me, and after I spend more time editing languages other than Actionscript 3. The font I am using is Calibri, so if you don't have Windows 7 or Windows Vista installed you'll have to find another font and possibly fine tune the font sizes. If you need to alter the font, make sure you have the latest build installed, install the color scheme then go to Tools > Syntax Coloring. The first option is called default -- change the font under default to another font like Tahoma or Georgia or anything you like. Forgive me for not recommending equal-width fonts, but I tend to feel happier and code better when I use a font that is legible but doesn't feel archaic or too much like a console. Anyways, enjoy and let me know what you think! "Cheery" Color Scheme: http://www.eclecticdesignstudio.com/cod ... Scheme.fdz

 Re: Sharing Color Schemes
3 colors schemes... I think I feel a new "Color Scheme" Wiki page coming on. Will have to wait until after RC2 comes out though as I understand it's changed a bit how the schemes work.

 Re: Sharing Color Schemes
I think I feel a new feature coming on. I wonder if it would be possible to create a directory full of color scheme *.fdz files, and swap them out on demand?
