Hi,

I have just created a CPP.xml file to provide syntax coloring for C++ code in FlashDevelop.

Even with Visual Studio on my system, I prefer FlashDevelop for editing. Here's the file:

I noticed that FlashDevelop doesn't pick up new syntax file names automatically, so I'm going to replace the contents of my CSharp.xml file, but maybe you would be interested in including this in the next release?

Thanks!

Please check the doc on how to properly add a syntax file:

We'll consider adding it but arguably it's far from FD's scope :)

ScintillaNET already includes a lexer for CPP.

In fact, your CSharp.xml file uses the CPP lexer :)

NME development is Haxe most of the time, but if you are writing an extension, for example, you will likely have some C or C++ files. All this does is provide some coloring if you open a C or C++ file. FlashDevelop provides syntax coloring for Batch, CSharp, JScript and Python. It might be fair to include CPP as well, perhaps? :)
