Post How to create a Template
Hi,

I just discover this tool (FD3) and i think is really awesome, but i have a question. The thing is that i have my own workflow style.. for example:

when i'm developing a Flash Site i organize my Project this way:

directory ProyectName
--------- webFlash ->Where are all related about FLAs
------------------ classes -> proyect class directory
--------- www-> Exported Files(SWFs)
--------------data-> XML files
--------------js -> JavaScript Files (swfobject, etc.)
--------------images (images to load)

I don't know if you understand.. I hope so.

So, when i start a proyect in FD3 from a template .. i see that any template is usefull for me..
My question is, Is there a way to do my own Template?? How? is There any Toturial or something?? I see TEMPLATE Directory.. but I really don't know what to do?? because there is some kind of vars from the program..

I know this is kind of confusing... but i hope someone can help me.
sorry for my English. I'm from Colombia :P

Thanks

The variables are not documented (it's quite straightforward) but you can basically just add any project - you just have to:
- call the project file "Project.xxproj",
- add a "Project.txt" file with one line of description.

Locate the templates from FD main menu: Tools > Application Files.

This will open an Explorer window in your FD user files where you can find the templates.
